  • Academies of Loudoun Updates: The facility is now under construction and will be completed by the start of the 2018-2019 academic year. LEF extends a warm welcome to the first class of the Academy of Engineering and Technology (AET) now attending Tuscarora High School.
    Old Ashburn Colored School receives historical marker: Farmwell Station school students in Anthony Dodson's seventh grade social studies class applied for the marker earlier this year with the support of a grant from the Loudoun Education Foundation and the Claude Moore Charitable Trust.
    LEF, Riverside HS Awarded "Good Neighbor" Grants: The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation awarded $35,000 to support the launch of EDGE Plus, an 18-week afterschool program for 90 students in fourth and fifth grades who exhibit potential for high achievement.
    Claude Moore, INOVA Loudoun Sponsor Same Sky Project for LCPS: The topics of depression, suicide prevention and self-acceptance will take center stage in a new initiative for the county's middle and high schoolers
