  • Academies of Loudoun: The facility is now under construction and will be completed by the start of the 2018-2019 academic year. LEF extends a warm welcome to the first class of the Academy of Engineering and Technology (AET) now attending Tuscarora High School.
    Claude Moore, INOVA Loudoun Sponsor Same Sky Project for LCPS: The topics of depression, suicide prevention and self-acceptance will take center stage in a new initiative for the county's middle and high schoolers
    Teacher and Classified Staff Scholarships Available: Five scholarships for graduate programs are available to current Loudoun County Public School teachers who are seeking endorsements in critical teaching shortage areas. Three scholarships are available to current Loudoun County Public School classified personnel.
    Apply now for classroom grants of up to $1,500: LCPS teachers, apply now through March 17 for an LEF Teacher Classroom Grant. This spring, the Foundation will give $20,000 for innovative projects at all grade levels.

Friday, March 10: School Business Partnership Breakfast

Partnerships between our schools and the business community come in many forms, from on-site work experiences to sharing technology, sponosoring student scholarships, mentoring, job skills workshops and more. Doors open at 7:30 a.m. and the event begins at 8:00 a.m. at National Conference Center. read more

Thursday, March 23: Regional Science and Engineering Fair

The Loudoun Education Foundation is pleased to support the 35th Annual LCPS Regional Science & Engineering Fair (RSEF), which involves over 220 high school students. Students are selected to attend the RSEF by their schools. Judging is during the school day and the awards ceremony begins at 6:00 p.m. at Riverside High School. read more

Tuesday, April 4: Loudoun International Youth Leadership Summit

The event brings together 20 delegations of students from around the world to engage in facilitated discussions on global issues, hear from renowned speakers and sit in on lessons with various classes at seven LCPS high schools. read more

Friday, April 28: Outstanding Teacher Recognition Dinner

We roll out the red carpet to honor the nominees for the Washington Post Agnes Meyer Teacher of the Year Award for Loudoun County, as well as the Principal of the Year. Please consider becoming a sponsor for this important recognition event. read more
