  • Academies of Loudoun: Conceptualized over a decade ago, the Academies of Loudoun project is now under construction and will be completed by the start of the 2018-2019 academic year. LEF extends a warm welcome to the first class of the Academy of Engineering and Technology (AET) now attending Tuscarora High School.

It's time for the United Way of the National Capital Area annual workplace giving campaign. Pledges made by LCPS donors during the campaign season support eligible non-profit organizations like the Loudoun Education Foundation. Sunday, December 4: Excellence in Education Banquets

Help us celebrate academic and teaching excellence in Loudoun County Public Schools at the annual Excellence in Education Banquets at the National Conference Center. Each banquet recognizes students in the top 5% of their class academically and/or National Merit Scholarship recipients and the teacher of their choice. Inova Loudoun Hospital is the main sponsor of this event. read more

Monday, December 19: Teacher of the Year Nominations Due

Nominations for The Washington Post Teacher of the Year Award are now open. The Loudoun County nominee for this award also will be honored as the county’s "Teacher of the Year." Completed nomination packets must be received by 4:30 p.m. on Monday, December 19th, for a nominee to be considered. read more
